Earlier this year, my wife and I took a three-week road trip through Wales with our caravan. We spent a few days camping at Bodnant Gardens and did some shopping in Betwys-y-Coed. During our time there, we picked up a couple of glassware pieces (which you can see on our dining table back in Australia) for our daily G&Ts at the campsite.
We liked them so much that we ended up visiting your shop two more times—first to grab a couple more for our home in Australia, and then again because we thought they’d make perfect gifts for two of our lovely neighbors.
By our third visit, your amazing staff recognized us and chuckled at our frequent stops, wrapping up the four glasses we had to take back in our luggage with care.
So, a bit late, but a huge thank you to your wonderful team—please let them know how much we appreciate it! After that, we spent another five weeks exploring England and Scotland before heading home, and we just wrapped up another six weeks traveling around Victoria and New South Wales.
The four glasses made it back to Australia safely in our hand luggage, and our neighbors are thrilled with them too. We can’t wait to come back next year and use the two glasses we left in our van in Scotland!

During our trip from the US in mid-July, we stumbled upon some stunning hand-woven wool rugs that we wished to take back with us. Unfortunately, our luggage was full. After we got back home, I reached out to the shop, and thanks to Ella, I received 8 gorgeous rugs at my doorstep in just a few weeks. Huge thanks! We’re sure our family will adore these rugs. I went to the shop with my daughter, who picked out some crystals to buy. While we were looking around for other stuff, I noticed a rude employee tailing her and signaling to others to keep an eye on her. When we got to the checkout, this person was standing off to the side, literally peeking over to see what we were paying. It was completely unacceptable behavior, and for my daughter's sake, I held back from telling the staff what I really thought. I won't be coming back, as I don't like being treated like a criminal. If anyone else is thinking of visiting, just know it's your typical overpriced gift shop.

There's a fantastic variety of items available, but the employees really ought to undergo some training. Since we live near Betws y Coed, my partner and I often visit this place. Each time we step into the shop, it feels like the staff are tailing us, keeping an eye on our every move as if we're up to no good. It's quite unpleasant and honestly makes us think twice about coming back (and I should mention we usually drop quite a bit of cash here). Please have a chat with your team, as this behavior is really off-putting.
